The Unirii (Union) Hall was inaugurated on December 22, 1994, on the occasion of the commemoration of the Romanian Revolution of 1989.

It was designed for the big receptions that would have taken place at the level of head of state. The interior space is the largest and second tallest of the Parliament Palace halls. It consists of a large central nave measuring 54×18 m, with a richly decorated central skylight and two side naves of 6×42 m, separated by two colonnades. The main nave is 15 m high and the two sides are 12.5 m high.

The columns have Romanian-style grooves, with a Corinthian capital and are made of white Rușchița marble. Due to the size of the hall, on the long side of the entrance, the doors were made as monumental portals. Boxed with cherry wood inserts and white marble frame, with motifs inspired by traditional Romanian architecture. The hall opens directly to the outside, to the park, through 8 high doors-windows made of stainless steel ornaments.

A.I. Cuza Hall is named after the ruler who united the Romanian Principalities, Moldova and Wallachia. This hall was completed before the 1989 Revolution and is one of the most imposing in the Palace of Parliament. It is the tallest hall, of about 20 m and the second largest, of 2,040 sqm. It was intended to be a protocol room at the highest level, the “negotiation and document signing room”. It is located on the main axis of the Parliament Palace, with an opening through a large loggia to Constitution Square and Unirii Boulevard.

The hall has an eclectic architecture, with a pink background, the main element of the composition is the column with capital in Corinthian style and the spindle of the column processed with traditional ornamental motifs of Brâncovenesc style architecture. The columns are made of white Rușchița marble.

In 1995, the hall hosted the concert conducted by Yehudi Menuhin during the opening of the “George Enescu” International Music Festival.

Ion I.C. Brătianu Hall is located on the ground floor on the axis of the Palace of the Parliament. With two inner courtyards on the sides, this room has a special natural light, intensified by chandeliers and sconces that reproduce vintage chandeliers. It is a medium-sized room, a central space with an opening of 42 m, all covered in marble.

The hall is used for conferences and other musical or film events.

The Parliament Palace is open to tourists.
